Positive Affirmations

Affirmations are positive phrases or statements used to challenge negative or unhelpful thoughts. Positive affirmations can be used to motivate, encourage positive changes in life or boost self-esteem. For affirmations to be effective, it is said that they need to be present tense, positive, personal and specific.

When starting with affirmations, always use either I am, I can or I will.
